- Die Rückwand eines technischen Gebäudes unterbricht das Rundum-Panorama auf der Dachterrasse des Humboldt-Forums in Berlin. Hier ergänzen wir mit Zeichnungen eines Blickes auf Mexiko-Stadt. Beim Bau des Humboldtforums wurde viel Kupfer verbaut. Kupfererz kommt zumeist per Schiff im Hamburger Hafen an, gern aus Lateinamerika, und wird dort verhüttet. Dabei fällt auch ein kleiner Anteil an Gold an, mit dem das Erz bezahlt wird. Wir benutzen Blattgold für das Wandbild.
- The rear wall of a technical building interrupts the all-round panorama on the roof terrace of the Humboldt Forum in Berlin. Here we add drawings of a view of Mexico City. A lot of copper was used in the construction of the Humboldt Forum. Copper ore usually arrives in Hamburg harbour by ship, often from Latin America, and is smelted there. This also produces a small amount of gold, which is used to pay for the ore. We use gold leaf for the mural.
